Tabetha started training with us in July and her three main goals were to lose weight, lose bodyfat, and feel good. Like many of us she has a sedentary job where she sits in front of the computer most of the day. This affects us in ways we don’t realize, causing our hips and lower back to tighten, slowing our ability to metabolize fat and sugar, and increasing our risk of diabetes and heart disease. So whenever you get a chance, stand and walk on your job.
Prior to training with us Tabby tried different activities like yoga, boxing, and working at the gym on her own. She had a hard time staying interested after the first month or so and would stop going. She felt tired all the time but most importantly, she didn’t like what she saw in the mirror. She saw a picture of herself that her cousin took and it motivated her to seek out help on her fitness journey. This is a big deal because people look at themselves all the time and are not satisfied with what they see. For the most part people are not motivated to make a change until something arises where they have to look their best or perform to the best of their abilities.
After three months of consistent training with us and cleaning up her nutrition, Tabby has dropped 21lbs, decreased her body fat by 6.5% meaning she’s lost around 15lbs of fat, and she’s dropped 10.5 inches.
“My experience at McCohn Muscle has been amazing! I love how everyone is so supportive and how we vibe like family. Mo, Matt, and Q are literally some of the most patient people I have ever met in my life which has also made my experience pretty great.”
“I feel like I have a lot more energy now and can do things that I never thought I could do before, like running at high speed and long distance. I would say my stamina has improved a lot. I do not get exhausted from certain activities like I did before.”
We asked Tabby how she felt now and what was next for her and her fitness goals.
“I feel great as a person and motivated to keep pushing to meet my goals. The next step for me in my fitness journey is to keep this momentum and keep building muscle and getting stronger. I also want to keep being consistent and hopefully motivate someone else to make a lifestyle change.”
